Saturday October 12 between 4:00 PM & 5:30 PM - vacate premisses by 6:00 PM

  • Vendors are expected to be open for the hours specified above. If you can't commit to those hours advise us and we will determine if alternate arrangements can be made
  • We will provide tables, vendors must have table cloths, booth décor, signage and products
  • Vendors are not permitted to sell items beyond their approved booth space
  • No smoking or drinking alcohol is permitted at vendor booths
  • No power is supplied with the booth...
  • There will be 1 foot at least on either side of your booth between you and your "neighbours"
  • Booth placement shall be decided upon by the Event Director
  • All vendors must manage their space in a neat and orderly manner without encroaching upon or limiting the sight on neighboring vendors
  • Space is limited and vendors will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis, based on receipt of a completed Registration Form, full payment, and an Insurance Certificate
  • All vendor booth space must be vacated by 6 PM on Saturday, October 12
  • The event organizers reserve the right to remove vendors not honouring the terms of this agreement, or, any selling merchandise not acceptable and fees are non-refundable
  • Exclusivity on a unique products may be granted at the discretion of Event Director

We need to maintain a professional appearance throughout the Marketplace and request that each vendor or exhibitor make a concentrated effort to make their booths visually appealing, and keep their area clean of trash and other debris.

The venue provides 24-hour security on Saturday October 12. We will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safekeeping of your goods. Notwithstanding these precautions Saffron Hub and/or The Durham College are not responsible for any loss or damage to vendor &/or exhibitor properties arising by means of fire, theft, water damage, vandalism or any other cause whatsoever while on the event grounds. Exhibitors are responsible for assuming the risk of exhibiting and/or selling their materials and property and must protect themselves against loss or damage through their own insurance policies.

Mandatory Liability Insurance Certificate is required in the amount of Two Million Dollars for food vendors (pre-packaged food and food trucks included) and for merchandise vendors. All certificates must be signed by the Insurance Agent to be considered valid. The following parties must be noted as Additional Insured(s):

  • vendor parking is free
  • the parking gates will be open for the duration of the event
  • when you arrive at the front gate, unload your belongings and head to the entrance. One of our volunteers will usher you into position
  • it will be beneficial to have a trolley to help you with moving your belongings into the event space
  • once you unload at the front, please park to a designated parking area reserved for vendor & exhibitor vehicles which is located at the back
  • your vehicle will remain in that designated parking area until you leave

NOTE: Sponsoring broadcasting companies (radio/TV) will be permitted to park their branded vehicles onsite and our volunteers will give you direction upon arrival for proper placement.

Every reasonable attempt will be made to make unloading, parking, restocking, and, end of day loading as easy as we possibly can, and we appreciate your understanding.

 These rules are in place to ensure a great event experience is had by all and everyone in the park is safe.

BY REGISTERING...

  • I hereby, grant and release to the Artists and Artisans Development and Network (AADN) and Saffron Hub the right to use photographs, audio tapes, and/or videotapes in which I and/or my food appear in any materials such as videos, films, recordings, photographs or articles relating to the projects and its programs and services including, but not limited to, brochures, newsletters, annual reports or our Web site, whether broadcast on television, radio, or any other medium.
  • I acknowledge that ADN / Saffron Hub maintains all rights to promote on social media and may change any information documented materials without notice.
  • I have read this document, and I fully understand the contents, meaning and impact of this consent. This consent is binding on me and my business.
